Malpas Maths Tutor
Hello! My name is Matt Witchalls. I am a fully-qualified, UK-trained mathematics teacher and I also work as a private maths tutor.
I am yet to give up on a student and believe that EVERYONE (including you!) can succeed in improving their maths skills.
I’m happy to assist with any GCSE, IGCSE, AS, A2 or Further Maths enquiry as well as the International Baccalaureate (IB), Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) and International Advanced Levels (IAL).
My students choose private maths tuition with me for all sorts of reasons and it is rarely as simple as being stuck with a poor teacher at school. Whatever the reason, I will take the time to understand why you need help with mathematics and what would be the best plan to provide that help.
Whether you need only a couple of intensive lessons on a particular topic or regular weekly support for your mathematics studies, I can help you and would be very happy to discuss your requirements in more detail.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do you teach?
I mainly teach GCSE, IGCSE, AS, A2 and Further Maths as well as the International Baccalaureate (IB), Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) and International Advanced Levels (IAL).
However, if there’s something else mathematical that you are struggling with then please head over to my Tuition Enquiries page to ask me about it and I can probably help with that too.
Where do you teach?
I teach students across the UK and internationally and will consider any request for maths tuition.
Please click on the map below to explore the area where I used to teach.
Unfortunately, if you live near Malpas, you are now too far away for me to provide face-to-face maths tuition.
However, I can still help! Please consider my online maths tuition service instead.
Tell me more about online tuition … Does it actually work?
Yes! I have successfully delivered thousands of hours of online mathematics tuition to students of all abilities from across the UK and internationally.
Through the use of Skype and Blackboard Collaborate, I am able to provide live, fully-interactive online mathematics tuition to anyone with a broadband internet connection.
The Blackboard Collaborate online classroom allows me to upload documents such as past exam papers and then extensively annotate them and my students can do the same. In a face-to-face lesson we would be writing on pieces of paper, whereas in an online lesson, the pieces of paper are on our computer screens!
By using Skype, I am able to communicate directly with my students, ask them questions and answer any of theirs. This all happens live and in real time so it’s really no different to the conversation we would be having if we were in the same room.
You can see some of the results my clients have achieved by visiting my Testimonials page.
How do I find out more about booking lessons?
My Tuition Enquiries page contains additional information such as my lesson charges and also includes a contact form where you can send me a message.
I take on new students throughout the year so please get in touch to check my availability – I look forward to hearing from you!
What else can I do on your website?
